I've been asked a few times if I had any designs for Child Carers or Nursery Workers, so as I added a few new lines to my Teacher Gifts this year, I also added some other new designs too!

Trinket Necklaces

I love making trinket necklaces, so I've combined these charms to make two new ones, designed as gifts for nursery workers, nannies or child carers. All of these necklaces are designed to hang on longer chains, but can be made to any length.

Toy Themed Trinket Necklace
Mixing a teddy bear, little shoes and toy blocks to make a simple necklace. You can also mix the coloured beads to your preference.

Teddy Themed Trinket Necklace

This one is probably my favourite piece of this collection, a teddy holding a flower with toy blocks, a heart charm and baby feet. It can also have your choice of colours.

Rocking Horse Pendant

Finally, I have a new pendant necklace in the shape of a rocking horse, so cute!

Best Sellers of 2015

I've been busy planning for 2016, and I decided to do a bit of analysis on my best sellers of last year.

I had a few surprises, it's funny how I've been sitting making jewellery all year, not realising which pieces I'm making the most of!

Here's the top 5 of 2015:

Number 5 - Snowflake Jewellery

These have been a best seller for two years in a row now, originally inspired by the movie Frozen. They are also popular as Winter wedding jewellery for Bridesmaids and Flower girls.

  

Number 4 - Mother Daughter

As Mother's Day is just around the corner, I will be soon relaunching my Mother Daughter range on my website, it's currently only available on Etsy. This was probably my biggest surprise, I had no idea I had made so many of these sets! Mainly featuring mother and baby bird charms my Mother Daughter Jewellery can be personalised with initials, beads and birthstones.

  

Number 3 - Sister Jewellery

I made my first Sister Necklace for my own sister as a Christmas present a few years ago, I had a few leftover and tried them out on Etsy... and the rest is history!

  

Number 2 - Bridesmaid & Flower Girl

My Bridesmaid Jewellery was the beginning of what FunkyPinks is today, thanks to a few custom requests for bridesmaid jewellery a few years ago. Since then I've expanded my range in this category, an I love putting together new pieces for themed weddings!

Number 1 - Birthday Jewellery

This surprised me, as I expected my wedding jewellery to be number one, but my Birthday Jewellery has one by a clear mile!

I love my birthday and birthstone charms, and the hand stamped pieces are particularly popular. These designs can be combined and personalised in any way, and customised to any birthday age.

  

I also have set birthday charms that can be personalised with coloured beads and different shaped charms, which are also very popular!

Love is in the air!

It's that time of year again; love it or loathe it, Valentine's Day will soon be here! 

Whether you're celebrating with a loved one, or you just want to join in with the fun I have some pretty new designs for the season.

I've introduced some new charms for Valentine's Day, and some of these will also feature in my Bridesmaid and Flower Girl Jewellery gifts section.

My favourite new design is my Heart Trinket Charm Necklace. It features lots of my new heart charms, and is personalised with a Swarovski Birthstone Crystal, and a silver heart charm hand stamped with an initial.

My other favourite is my new Swan Charm Jewellery. These are designed to feature a couple's initials, with a cute charm of two loving swans in the middle. I've actually had these charms for a while but I've been waiting for the right time to launch them. 

The success of my Halloween Charm Bracelets inspired me to work on some different designs; I have two new charm bracelets for Valentine's Day. This is my Hearts and Flowers Bracelet, and I also have a Hearts Charm Bracelet that matches a lot of my heart bracelets and necklaces.

I'm loving my new heart charms, and I'm hoping to make them a permanent FunkyPinks Jewellery staple. My classic heart charm jewellery i also still available, and you can find all of my themed jewellery in the Valentine's Day section of my website.

Halloween Jewellery!

It's coming up to the spookiest time of year, I love Halloween and making lots of spooktacular jewellery!

My designs for this season can be used to funk up a Halloween costume, or can be worn casually for a more understated look.

This year I've gone all out, bats, skeletons, spiders, and the beginnings of my new 'Symbols' range by introducing Wicca themed jewellery.

As usual I have matching earrings, bracelets and necklaces for lots of my designs; but some of the charms are too big for bracelets so are only available as necklaces. The skeletons are so big they would only do as earrings!

My favourite design is this cute Halloween Charm Bracelet. It features some funky witch themed charms including a witch's hat, a spider web, a witch on a broomstick, a cat, a cauldron and star charms.

Earrings are always top sellers in the run up to Halloween, and I've expanded on last years designs to offer even more!
